So about 2 months ago when I was in a course with our former HR director she had our group read the Fish! book. We each came back with different interpretations on it and different goals that we wanted to achieve for our teams.
Being young I lead my team in a very unorganized and laid back way. They were generally happy but the output we did showed that something was missing. I was having a lot of trouble standing up and performing as I was supposed to in my position.
About a month ago we had a new person start in my department and he was my golden ticket. Through having him there I was able to begin the process of reaching out and bettering my team. I've started by taking every Monday and gathering the team together for a 30 minute talk and inspirational teaching of some sort. I've started explaining the Fish! philosophy to them and really want to make that something that's do-able in our department. I've started with explaining the "Choose your Attitude" philosophy to them as well as a few exercises to help them to understand the subtle differences even in out physical strength. (An exercise that my HR director had taught me. one person stands up with one arm held straight out to the side. another person takes two fingers and places them on the outstretched arms wrist. the 1st person is then to think positive thoughts while the 2nd presses down on their wrist. The arm shouldn't move much. Next you have them think negative thoughts while pressing down again. this time you should noticeably see a difference in the amount the arm moves with the same amount of pressure)
Where my issue lies is that I want to start expanding on the other aspects of the philosophy with the other 3 parts. But I'm not sure how to present it in a fashion that is both exciting and informational. (I'm still a little new and nervous at giving presentations and speaking to groups of people. Tho I am getting a lot better) I had my HR director previously to bounce ideas off of, but unfortunately she's taken a position with another company and is no longer at my disclosure.

This is the file that I used as an introduction to the "Choose your Attitude" part of the philosophy. I was able to expand off of this and make it more personalized and entertaining. but if anyone knows a place where I can find even information to start a presentation I can easily manage to personalize it and expand of it. I just need to find a good starting point.
Thank you all and it's great to be a part of this community
