The FISH! Philosophy Network

In an effort in a stressful environment; my FISH Committee does a FISH activity each month that truly have changed the morale in our organization. Some activities have been: Staff Appreciation FISH Cookout; Christmas Caroling, FISH Treats Day, Breast Cancer Walk for the Cure. Each month in our All Staff meeting, we present a staff member with the FISH Empowerment Award. Staff nominates a staff member for the award, which is a gift card and certificate. We have been in existance for over a year and have made a difference.

Consistancy in the key Susan! Keep on keepin on!
Our culture or, "How we do things around here", need constant attention. Not only events but everything from reports and meetings to client interactions and accounts receivable. Who are we being while we're in this meeting? Who are we being while we're at this job fair? heck, who are we being while we drive home from work?
It is a constant awareness of how we show up and asking the question "Is this who I mean to be or just what is happening at the moment?"
I am encouraged that your activities are meaningful and are helping improve morale. Keep going!
