Melody Moments

Who is Melody? She is a most beautiful (in spirit) little Prep child in our school. She is bubbly, cheery and a delight to be around. We tell her mother often how lucky she is to have Melody and what a wonderful job she has done to bring this precious gift to us.

Melody is also very matter of fact, her opinions count and she knows it, she is one the best examples of someone that knows the power she has to make others happy. The other day I was on yard duty and Melody skipped up to me......."Hello Mrs Miles" she says quite confidently " How are you Melody its good to see you here" "I'll walk with you Mrs Miles and help you do yard duty" "Ok Melody that would be great lets walk this way".................so off we went walking around the yard ......doing our duty..........when all of a sudden Melody looks up at me and says " Mrs Miles?" "Yes Melody" "Mrs Miles you always make my day!"

Imagine how powerful those little words were! I'm still living off the feeling.

Yes, and I turned to Melody and said " Well Melody thats good, because you always make my day too!".

and then we continued with "our" yard duty.
