Being involved in the learning and development industry naturally makes me consider the impacts of the Fish! Philosophy on the world of learning. Of course having fun whilst learning has been proven time and time again to improve the ability of most individuals to take on, learn, digest and retain new learnings. Being There for the students, colleagues, individuals and groups is crucial to our success as teachers, leaders, trainers and coaches. Being There holds the key to discovering how our learning has gone, what people have learned from us, whether it’s been enough and what else we can do. Of course, we all find ourselves in difficult teaching situations and Choosing our Attitude is another critical element whilst Making Someone’s Day, praising them for a job well done, thank someone (or a group) for a great attitude to learning and celebrating achievement in what they have come to do all add on to turning a teaching event into a learning experience.
If you’re involved in the field of training, teaching or leadership I encourage you to come meet with us, share your stories of how the Fish! Philosophy helps in your learning environment and this entire group is dedicated to just that.
Happy Fishing and welcome to the Fish for Learning Group.
