As a new manager in our Contact Center, I understood the need for positive energy and fun in a challenging work environment. When someone introduced me to FISH!, I knew right away that this was the answer! We formed a team of like minded enthusiasts and began creating! Some of the things we implemented were a New Hire Buddy Program. Whenever a new "Guppy" joined us, a buddy was assigned to help with on-boarding them to our company culture and make sure they were welcomed and comfortable. We also implemented a peer recognition program using FISH! themed memos and tokens of appreciation. As managers, we focused on catching people doing something right instead of the traditional opposite. We involved all of our employees in decorating our work environment to represent our philosophies. It didn't take long for our project to spread to our other locations. It's always contagious and so much fun to see how other people create the energy and excitement! Thank you!!
