So I am preparing for a training of about 50-60 Student Orientation Leaders and am incorporating FISH into this years training session for them. Because this is a new thing for our team I will need to focus my activity to every leader and not just the new leaders for the year. I would like to show the video do an activity or two but I do not want it to just end there. I want to make it an everyday thing and do a simple thing every morning when we meet to remind them about fish and to incorporate it into their daily job of leading new students on a new campus.
So my question is has anybody used FISH in this way with Orienation Leaders and/or could you help me with ideas as to how to use FISH every morning at 6am when the whole staff is together. We meet at the beginning of every morning and the end of every day but after that the group is pretty much split up all day assigned to different tasks throughout the day. I am not sure what activity I can make a daily thing using FISH.
Help! PLease and thank you in advance for any and all ideas!
Sounds like you basically need a daily FISH! pep talk --- pick a inspirational phrase or word everyday --- if you are meeting in the same place everyday you could write it on some construction paper (or card stock) and post it on the FISH! wall. Then focus the pep talk on the inspirational phrase or word of the day.
