The FISH! Philosophy Network

I've read all the Fish books and we've been living the Fish Philosophy for seven years. My greatest opportunity is in keeping Fish alive. The book Fish Sticks talks about keeping Fish alive without all of the visuals and getting people to internalize the heart of the philosophy.

How do we keep the Fish Philosophy alive with a group of 250 employees? Games, contests, prizes are great, but I'm talking about getting to the heart of the philosophy. Does anyone have any suggestions about how we get people to take a part in promoting FIsh everyday aside from playing games and giving prizes?

We have about 250 employees in my company. I ask for volunteers to be a part of the "Fish Pond" ( a group of individuals who are Fish spokespeople ) When the initiave first launched 7 years ago, there were over 40 people in the Fish Pond. Today I have to run a recruitment drive every year and have about 16 people total. Of the 16, I usually get about 10 who show up to the meetings which are twice a month for one hour. The remainder of the people state they have too much work or are too busy. I find it challening to choose my attitude toward this. Out of 160 hours of work per month, the Fish meetings take up 2. I'm in a leadership position and know what it's like to be busy all the time. But I'm committed to keeping Fish alive. That's why no matter what I'm doing, I can make the meetings and am not too busy. Anyone have suggestions on how to get the people to accept my invitation to be a part of Fish? We talk about what Fish means to them, define the elements as they pertain to my company, play games, create fun projects, have charitable events, are supported by the company, etc. but I frequently find myself in the same spot. If the spokespeople for Fish aren't embracing the philosophy, how can we keep Fish alive with the rest of the company?
