I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a group activity whenI discuss Be There during my presentation. I would appreciate any ideas...I want something new-
Pose a question..."What's the nicest thing you have ever done for someone?" Have your participants write it down on paper and put them in a bowl. Have each draw one piece out of the bowl and read it out loud to the group. Have them try to guess who wrote it (depending on the group size, you might want to break them down into small groups). Then ask that person how it made them feel at the time, how it makes them feel reflecting on it, and what kind of an impact it made on the person. This could cross over to make their day as well, but creating the conversations and wrapping them around the feeling it gives you when you are "being there", will remind them of the importance.
We have a 96 page journal that has wonderful conversation starters for individuals and small groups ($19.95). FISH! is about continued conversation so applying these questions can cross over to any topic you are on.You can find it under products on our website and I find it helpful in creating those conversation starters and activities. Also, take a look at our Trainer Tools product online. Packed full of support and useful suggestions for presenting. It was created by our facilitators.
Good luck and have fun!
Hope this helps
